JAX MIDNIGHT SORT
Below are this weeks activities which are usually before the sort.
1) Squat to lift an imaginary bucket that is inside your left foot. (Most of your weight is on your right leg.)
2) Your right heel should be up so the right hip can rotate inward.
3) Now shift your weight onto your right leg and allow the unweighted left leg to pivot inwards.
4) Keep your shoulders in line with your hips as you empty the bucket over your right shoulder .
CHSP Members will stage pools noodles on top of a mock wall. Employees will be asked to grab an item from the top shelf. Employees will either tilt the package back or pull the package from the wall and the pool noodle will roll off the top and simulate a struck by or against in-jury. CHSP Members will coach and correct as employees at-tempt to grab the item. Once completed, employees will verbally state one way that tilting the package back will avoid a struck by or against injury's. All employees completing the activity correct-ly will be entered into the safety activity recognition drawing.
* Only certified yard personnel are allowed in the yard outside of the designated pedestrian walkways and designated break areas.
* All facility employees, whether certified or non-certified, must use the designated pedestrian walkways and pedestrian doors to enter or exit the building.
* When on a break, all employees are required to remain in designated break areas.
